A gothic-style former gardener’s cottage tucked away in the walled garden of Croft Castle.
Built into the garden walls of Croft Castle, you’ll feel intertwined with nature in this dreamy 'gothic'-style cottage. Green shrubs climb its walls and pruned lawns encompass the property. It’s no surprise that it was once home to the estate’s gardener; he would have been in the perfect spot for gazing upon the gardens and admiring his hard work. The interior has been restored to provide a homely and inviting stay with enough room for six people.
Take advantage of your unique location and explore the wider estate before the visitors arrive. Stroll through the gardens and parklands as you please, and then head into the castle when it opens. Discover its 1,000 years of history and learn how we help to look after it with the support from your stay.
Further afield, the market towns of Leominster and Ludlow are both under 10 miles in either direction from the cottage. Explore these historic trading centres with their wide variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. Of course, Ludlow is well known for its medieval castle while Leominster has a wealth of antique shops and markets.
