For a group getaway in a great location, why not take a look at our bunkhouses in Devon? These self-catering bunk barns sleep between six and eighteen people in simple comfort, with spacious communal areas to relax and dine in. Butter Hill Barn, Lynmouth
This barn conversion offers a rural retreat with a few added comforts. A stone's throw from the South West Coast Path, the barn is ideally placed for exploring North Devon. Inside, the bunkhouse has an open-plan living/kitchen area with log burning stove, bunkbeds for six people, and en-suite shower room. With the Atlantic on your doorstep, this bothy is great for surfers. The wide bay at Woolacombe offers gentle waves for novice surfers, while Croyde Bay has bigger swells to suit the more experienced.
Exmoor Bunkhouse, Lynmouth
Sleeping 18 people, Exmoor Bunkhouse in Devon offers simple, self-catering accommodation for large groups. Set on the fringes of Exmoor National Park, the Bunkhouse is an ideal base for walking groups and families with a love of the outdoors. Nearby, the River Lyn is one of the best waterways in the area to catch salmon and trout. Or if you're not a fan of fishing, you could canoe or kayak down the river.

Explore miles of North Devon's unspoilt coastal cliffs, bays, waterfalls and woodland valleys, or take a short drive to the fishing village of Clovelly to rest in a café or traditional pub.
Foreland Bothy, Lynton
Wake up every day to stunning sea views when you stay in this bothy on the Devon coast. With basic facilities, leave your gadgets behind and enjoy quality time together in the great outdoors. Its remote position on the coast makes it a top spot for stargazing. When the sun sets, head outside the bothy and watch as the skies light up with stars.
Heddon Orchard Bothy, Barnstaple
Nestled in the woodland of Heddon Valley, this Devon bothy is one for adventures. The bothy can accommodate four people and two dogs. Step out the front door and you'll find miles of excellent walking trails right on your doorstep. After a day's hike through the valley, you could enjoy a hearty meal in a welcoming pub just 20 metres downhill from the bothy.
Berry Lawn Linhay Bothy, Lynmouth
Sleep beneath a sky of stars in this remote bothy on the fringes of some of England's highest cliffs. With soaring views across Exmoor it's the perfect overnight stop for walkers exploring the South West Coast Path. Sleeping four people and two dogs, you'll share this far-flung hideaway with grazing animals and secret coves, while the comforts of a cosy pub lie just a short stroll away.
Peppercombe Bothy, Bideford
With views across Bideford Bay, Peppercombe Bothy offers basic accommodation in a gated wooded valley. With no electricity, it's the perfect escape for those wanting to get away from the trappings of modern life. A meandering path from the bunkhouse leads down to secluded Peppercombe Beach, or you could loop onto the South West Coast Path which passes just 200 metres away.
