We let farms on our land to tenant farmers throughout the year. Opportunities don't come up that often, so you'll need to be quick if letting one of our farms appeals to you.

Lettings available

Stonethwaite Farm and Land at Thorneythwaite, Borrowdale, Cumbria

Stonethwaite Farm is a traditional Lakeland fell farm extending to circa 175.91 hectares including a four-bedroom farmhouse, two-bedroom holiday cottage, a range of both modern and traditional farm buildings and an existing campsite business. This farm to let includes the landlord’s Herdwick flock and common grazing rights.

Stonethwaite Farm will be let on a 15-year farm business tenancy from 29 September 2024.

This is an opportunity for a proactive tenant to work in partnership with us to develop a successful business based on high quality livestock, habitat and landscape management. It will also provide diversification opportunities.
