This annual festival invites you to discover the heritage on your doorstep, or step behind the scenes to places typically not open. Running 6 - 15 September in 2024, see a selection of top places to visit and things to do. Offers and days differ, so check carefully before visiting .

Hidden tours at Fountains Abbey

Join a special tour to hidden spaces this festival. Ticket holders to hidden spaces tours will get free entry to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal for the day. Step into Fountains Hall to see the Great Chamber and recently restored Oak Room. Or see the abbey ruins in a whole new light with a tour to the Lay Brothers' Dormitory. Numbers are limited and booking is essential.
