About Little Chert

Surfers, ramblers and retro buffs alike will love this 70s bolthole, originally built as a guest annex to the neighbouring modernist house, Chert.

It’s true to its roots and filled with retro interiors, from the original turquoise formica bathroom and quirky mosaics, to the slick wall bed that unfolds into the open-plan lounge, dining and bedroom area.  It really feels like a step back in time.

Catch the waves at nearby surfing beaches on the southern coastline or take a walk to balmy Ventnor town; it takes about half an hour. This Victorian town has a lovely atmosphere, with a vibrant arts scene and lots of independent cafes, bars and restaurants. If you want to venture a little further, you can drive from one end of the island to the other in under an hour and discover its stunning beaches, dinosaur history and natural spectacle, The Needles.

Little Chert and Chert, which sleeps four guests, can be booked together.
