VE Day 80th anniversary
This year marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Join us to commemorate Greenway's connection to this key historic moment of the Second World War with a military display.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
During the Second World Way, Greenway became home to evacuees and was later requisitioned by the US Coast Guard.
To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, there will be a military display by the front of Greenway House, with vehicles and re-enactors.
Volunteers will also be on hand in the house to share the story of Greenway at war, highlighting features in the house that relate to this time.
