Essex Cultural Diversity Project’s free pop-up exhibition to celebrate the contribution the Windrush generation has made to British life.

The exhibition tells the story of the 800 Caribbean citizens who arrived at Tilbury on board the Empire Windrush on 22 June 1948, pioneering today’s multi-cultural society and redefining what it means to be British.
