Five sea-view pitches in the grounds of an old dairy farm, with walks inland to the Purbeck hills or to Chapman’s Pool on the Jurassic Coast.
Escape to wildlife-rich countryside at Weston Farm Motorhome Site on the Isle of Purbeck. The motorhome site is in the grounds of an old dairy farm, with five hardstanding pitches for self-contained campervans and motorhomes alongside former agricultural buildings. It has sea views to the south, looking down to the valley towards Winspit, as well as expansive views across farmland.
The campsite is dog-friendly and each pitch has an electric hook-up. A drinking water point and chemical disposal are also available.
The site is a 30-minute downhill stroll to the local beach, Chapman’s Pool, and five minutes from the South West Coast Path. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the Jurassic Coast. The small village of Worth Matravers, with a tearoom and a pub, is a ten-minute walk away.
As a campsite guest, you’ll have free entry to National Trust places during your stay. The thousand-year-old Corfe Castle, where you can explore some of Britain's most iconic ruins from the English Civil War, is only a 10-minute drive away. Also nearby is Brownsea Island, which is famous for its red squirrels. The foot ferry to the island is a 40-minute drive away (entry to the island is free for campsite guests, but there is a fare for the ferry). Also 40 minutes away is Hardy's House, Max Gate, which was designed by Thomas Hardy and is where he wrote some of his most famous novels. His birthplace, Hardy's Cottage, is also nearby.
