Celebrate your wedding day in style in the idyllic setting of Tattershall Castle, England's finest brick-built medieval castle. The castle is available to book for wedding ceremonies, photographs, and drinks receptions all year round. Find out more about what is on offer for your wedding at Tattershall.

What we offer at Tattershall Castle

You are entitled to exclusive use of the Great Tower parlour for your ceremony followed by an optional drinks reception in the grounds, as well as access to the castle for you and your guests to explore. Whatever your wedding day plans, we will help you organise your perfect day.

Ceremony in the Parlour

The Parlour, with its magnificent high ceiling, intricately carved stone fireplace, and striking stained glass windows, creates a unique atmosphere and intimate ceremony for you and up to 80 seated guests.

There is no need to worry about what time of the year is best to get married, we have availability throughout the seasons to suit your preference. Due to the historic nature of the building, there are some restrictions on what you can have at your ceremony, so please drop us a line to learn more.

Drinks reception

After your ceremony, you can enjoy special celebratory drinks in the spacious inner ward in front of the tower, in the secluded ruins of the Outer Ward, or, if the weather is less favourable, in the Great Tower’s impressive vaulted ceiling basement. While guests are enjoying their drinks, the newlyweds have the opportunity for more intimate and romantic photographs within the secluded ruins.

Photographs in the castle and grounds

The castle's striking medieval brick tower and beautiful grounds are the perfect places for you and your guests to capture memories of the day. You can even pose on the battlements which overlook views of the Lincolnshire countryside.

Support with contacts and suppliers

We can also provide you with the names of local suppliers that include photographers, florists, musicians, and reception venues that have been regarded highly by previous wedding couples, and which will help you to plan your perfect day.
