A Rothschild Treasury houses more than 300 objects made from rare and precious materials. From a 1st-century cameo of Augustus Caesar’s grandson to jewellery gifted by Queen Victoria, gold boxes and more, this gallery celebrates generations of Rothschild collecting.
In this 45 minute tour with one of our curators, discover the stories behind some of these extraordinary items, many of which have never before been on public display.

Meet at front door of the Manor at 11.15am.
- Accessibility
A Rothschild Treasury is located on the top floor of the Manor via stairs. If you require an alternative access route, please email enquiries@waddesdon.org.uk at least 48 hours in advance of your visit. A member of staff will go with you in a lift to the second floor. You will then need to be able to transfer yourself to a chairlift, and back again. You will need to arrive at 11am.
