Mindful Photography Walks

Join Hanbury Hall photographer Mike Dixon for a walk around the formal gardens as he shares handy tips and tricks for photographing nature and the outdoors.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event (admission applies)

These sessions aim to help you to slow down and take notice of the small details around you, combining photography, mindfulness, and nature connection.

Mike will share his experiences and offer tips for getting the perfect photograph, from how to capture wildlife photography, finding the best angle and lighting, and how to frame images. Explore some of the beautiful locations in the formal gardens with your camera and discover how to examine nature and the outdoors mindfully.

No experience or professional equipment is needed. Bring your smartphone, or a camera, and join Mike and other like-minded people for a peaceful walk in the gardens.

The session will last for approximately 1 hour and will involve walking so please wear comfortable footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
