Big Dig: Festival of Archaeology

Join in with the UK's biggest annual celebration of archaeology and unearth the underground secrets of Dunstable Downs.

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July, we invite mini archaeologists to get hands-on at our four excavation stations. Inspire your curiosity by digging deep into our past and discovering the moments that have shaped us, and earn your ‘dig license’ from our very own Dunstable Downs archaeologist!

10.00am-4.30pm. £2 per child, no booking required.

The Nationwide Festival of Archaeology is an annual event coordinated by the Council for British Archaeology.
