Are you ready for a Minibeast Safari? From butterflies to beetles, make friends with the bugs that live at Stoneywell at five different bug hunting stations across the garden and woodland.-

When you've finished, you can make your very own minibeast to take home.

To celebrate Worldwide Knit in Public Day, our volunteers will be - you guessed it! - knitting in public. Spot our knitters around the Garden and Cottage, crafting in the beautiful surroundings of Stoneywell.

Join in with the woolly celebrations. Bring along your latest knitting or crochet project, or add a few rows to our knitted scarf - ready for our resident scarecrow to wear this winter.

Enjoy a summer of play at Stoneywell, sponsored by Starling Bank during the summer holidays.

Explore the garden and woodland, full to the brim with places to play. Find six different play zones and let imaginations run wild, discovering outdoor games, creative activities, and more.

Top up those energy levels after all that play, escape to a quiet shady spot for a picnic or an ice cream. 

Standard admission prices apply, no booking required. Self-led activities available between Friday and Monday between 19 July and 2 September.
