Its closeness to Newton Pool Nature Reserve will also help you get in touch with nature. You’ll wake up to the sound of birds and maybe even the sight of the elusive otter that inhabits here.
You could spend all day exploring the vast sands of this beautiful stretch of the Northumberland coastline. It’s dotted with castles; Dunstanburgh is a 10 minute drive to the south, Bamburgh is a 30 minute drive to the north and Lindisfarne is just across the sea on Holy Island.
