Bookshop
The Common Room second-hand bookshop is located on the ground floor of the house.
Kiosk
The Maker Space Horsebox concession serves light refreshments. There is accessible outdoor seating available with some limited seating under a marquee.
Car park
The car park is a short walk from the house, roughly 200 yards. Accessible parking by the house is also available.
Shop
Our shop is located on the first floor of the house.
Dogs allowed
Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens, woodland and Common Room bookshop. Assistance dogs are welcome in the house.
Toilet
There are two unisex toilets available in the house. Baby changing facilities are available in the upstairs Shop toilet.
Guided tour
Guided experiences around the house available in the mornings. Advance booking is recommended.
Blue Badge parking next to the house. Partly accessible grounds. Accessible Portaloo. Stairs to first floor of house and shop.
Accessible toilet
There is an accessible Portaloo available on the main driveway, approx. 30 metres from the house.

Designated parking
Available outside the main house. Access is through the black iron gate in the first turning on the right on Bradley Road. The gate is unlocked but may be closed. Please call us if you need assistance opening the gate.
Seating available
Inside the house, there are pink-seated chairs available for visitors to use.

There are two wheelchairs available to borrow - please ask at Visitor Reception on the day or call us in advance.
By road
Nuffield Place is just off the A4130 between Henley and Wallingford, down Bradley Road. There is a brown sign directly opposite.
Parking: Once you turn onto Bradley Road, the entrance to the car park is the third turning on the right. If you are looking for disabled parking, it is the first turning on the right once on Bradley Road. If you need someone to open the gate for you, please call our office on 01491 641224. All parking is signposted. It is roughly 200 yards from the car park to visitor reception.

On foot
Ridgeway National Trail passes Nuffield Place.
By train
Henley-on-Thames, 7 miles. You can then take the Connector 23 bus to Nuffield Place. A timetable is available on the Oxford Bus Company website.
By bus
Take the Connector 23 bus to Nuffield Place, which runs between Henley-on-Thames, Wallingford and Didcot. A timetable is available on the Oxford Bus Company website.
By bicycle
If you are arriving by bicycle, when turning onto Bradley Road, turn in the first entrance through the black iron gate on the right hand side. Carry on up the drive to Visitor Reception, where there is a bike rack located behind the building.
Motorcycles
If arriving by motorcycles, follow directions for cars, but please be aware the drive way to the car park is a long loose gravel drive. Parking for motorcycles is also available in front of the house alongside the accessible parking.

Nuffield Place reveals the surprisingly down-to-earth lives of William Morris, later Lord Nuffield and founder of the Morris Motor Company, and his wife, Elizabeth. Their home and personal possessions are just as they left them, the decor and furnishings intact.
From the comfortable sitting room with a small black and white TV, to Lord Nuffield's humble bedroom with a secret built-in workshop, this intimate home exudes the tastes and interests of its illustrious owner.
