Asset Opening time Moseley Old Hall 10:30 - 16:30 Garden and woodland 10:00 - 17:00 Tea-room 10:00 - 16:30 Entry to house at times may be by timed ticket and access may be by guided tour or free flow with access to upper floors occasionally limited. House last entry one hour before site closing. House open via guided tour only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Single track lane access to the hall. Blue badge parking and hearing loop in the tea-room and visitor reception. The top floors of the house and tea-room are accessed only by stairs.

Moseley Old Hall is just south of M54; from north on M6 leave at exit 11, then A460 towards Wolverhampton, follow brown signs; from south on M6 take exit onto M54, take exit 1 and A460 towards Wolverhampton - follow brown signs; from West on M54 take exit 2, then A449 towards Wolverhampton - follow brown signs.
Parking: Free parking on car park opposite property. Blue badge spaces available.
By train
Wolverhampton train station - 4 miles.
By bus
Catch the number 33 bus from Wolverhampton Bus Station towards Northwood Park - hourly service. Alight at Carisbrooke Rd, then there is a 20 min walk to Moseley Old Hall - take care on narrow lanes. No service on Sundays. Find times at nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands

About Moseley Old Hall
Find out about the dramatic story of King Charles II hiding from Cromwell’s troops at Moseley Old Hall after he fled the Battle of Worcester in 1651.
See the bed on which the King slept and the priest hole in which he hid, and hear fascinating stories about what life was like in the 17th-century from our tour guides and costume interpreters.
A variety of 17th-century plants, a fruit orchard and a striking ‘knot’ garden adorn the graceful gardens. Further into Kings Walk Wood there is den building and the tree-hide for children of all ages to explore.
Treat yourself in our very popular tea-room, with homemade cakes and biscuits or a light lunch. We've also got lots of events, activities and demonstrations for all the family happening throughout the year.
