Part of a large country house, brimming with original features and views over the Helford River.
With views straight down to the gentle coast and pine tree woodlands of the Helford River, Bosveal is the perfect place for a week of bliss. It occupies the main, central part of Bosloe House, a striking Arts and Crafts style manor, and is brimming with luxury décor and period features. Wood panelled walls, a grand dining room and two log-burning stoves add to its charm, while its six bedrooms make it the perfect get-together pad.
You’ll be a few minutes stroll from the small and south-facing beach at Durgan, a mixture of pebbles, rockpools and sand; the gentle waters make it perfect for canoeing or kayaking. As a guest you’re invited to explore the nearby exotic gardens of Glendurgan, with its jungle-like valleys and wildflower slopes.
Further afield, the pretty harbour town of Falmouth is just a 20 minutes’ drive. Or if you prefer to walk, take the 9.9 mile trail from Helford to Falmouth along the South West Coast Path. Enjoy exploring this historic town with its range of quaint shops, cafés and traditional fisherman’s inns.
Bosveal has an interconnecting door with neighbouring cottage, Court (sleeps 10). Chatham (sleeps eight) is also in Bosloe House and The Apple Store (sleeps two) is a short walk away. They can be booked together.
