Five campervan pitches a short walk from Penbryn beach, a sheltered, sandy cove in West Wales.
This small campervan site is just off the coast path and a short walk to Penbryn beach through a green, wooded valley. Penbryn's sheltered, sandy cove is almost a mile long and a quiet place to get away from it all. Dusk is a good time to spot seals and dolphins, and you'll find the night sky dark here for stargazing.
There are lots of opportunities for adventure sports and activities along this stretch of coast. For more time on the beach, surfers' Llangrannog is only a 10-minute drive away. It takes about half an hour to get to Mwnt, another good place to see dolphins and seals.
Away from the coast, the site is surrounded by countryside, and there are plenty of places to eat, drink and shop in the local villages and small towns. Cardigan, one of Wales' most historic towns, is about 20 minutes away by car. It has antique and vintage shops, local arts and crafts businesses, cafés and pubs.
Check-in is from 2pm, with departures by 11am. There are no toilets or other facilities at the campsite, but there are toilets in the National Trust car park nearby. For directions, dogs, local area guides and more, please check the Guide to Llanborth Campervan Site.
