Booking your visit to Levant Mine and Beam Engine

The main site at Levant Mine and Beam Engine is open for pre-booked tours only and we ask that you please book your visit in advance. In this article you'll find out everything you need to know about arranging your visit to Levant.

How to book

The main site at Levant Mine and Beam Engine is open for pre-booked tours only and we ask that you book your visit in advance. The Levant Mine and Beam Engine Tour lasts for approximately one to one and half hours and incorporates all of the site including the man engine tunnel, skip shaft, zawn and beam engine.

New bookings are released every Thursday and you can book your visit up to two weeks in advance. Bookings can be made up to an hour prior to the start of a tour on the day, where timeslots are available.

  • Entry to Levant Mine is free for members, but please bring your membership card with you. Non-members will need to pay in advance.
  • Please book one ticket per person, except for children aged five or under as they don't need a ticket.
  • You'll need to choose an arrival time for the day you want to visit. The timeslot that you book is the time that your tour starts.
  • The tours last for approximately one to one and a half hours.
  • Bookings are for your use only and are not available for resale.
  • We'll send your booking confirmation by email. Please make sure you fill in your correct email address when you book to ensure you receive your confirmation email.

When you arrive

  • If you’re coming to Levant by car, we ask that you please park at Geevor mine.
  • Please allow enough time to walk from Geevor Mine to Levant prior to the start of your tour.
  • When you’ve parked follow the signs to walk the coast path to Levant.
  • The 15- to 20-minute walk is across uneven terrain, make sure to wear appropriate footwear.
  • Accessible parking is available at Levant through prior arrangement.

As you reach Levant, please follow the path down the hill to the main site, where you'll see several buildings by the cliff. A team member will be there to welcome you. Please have your ticket ready to show, either on your phone or a printed copy.

Please arrive at Levant within 10 minutes of your timeslot. If you are more than 10 minutes late then entry will be at the discretion of the property team.

Changing your booking

If you set up an account when you made your booking, you will be able to amend the date/time of your booking online up to 24 hours before the date of your visit, or by calling 0344 249 1895
