Protecting heathlands at Kinver Edge, Staffordshire

Our heathlands are something of a national treasure. With your support, the Kinver Edge Sandscapes project is restoring and reconnecting the country's lost heathland landscapes, providing homes for rare animals and allowing us all to enjoy this distinctive natural landscape.

Restoring moorland peat in the Upper Plym Valley, Devon

The Upper Plym Valley peatlands on Dartmoor are a special habitat for a variety of wildlife. With your support, we've been able to work as part of the South West Peatland Partnership to help repair, restore and protect this remarkable moorland bog.

Keeping the River Eden flowing freely at Acorn Bank, Cumbria

The Crowdundle Beck weir is in poor condition which is preventing salmon from moving up and down the river. With your support, the Cumbria Riverlands project is removing the weir, improving the river habitat and ensuring the landscape will be more resilient to drought.

Helping nature at the Stepping Stones project, Shropshire

The Shropshire Hills is a working landscape full of wildlife and natural features. The Shropshire Stepping Stones project is working with others to restore hedgerows, road verges, trees and streams. Your support is bringing together farmers, volunteers and communities to create new habitats for native species such as the dormouse.
