Step into the magical world of Welsh mythology this half term. Join Rhubi, the spirited Welsh pixie, as children uncover iconic legends like the tale of the red dragon of Wales on a Celtic- inspired family trail.

This February half term, treat the whole family to a trail of adventure at Tredegar House.

Rhubi’s Celtic Chronicles

In celebration of St David’s Day, embark on a one off captivating tour through the rich tapestry of Welsh myths and legends. Guided by our expert historian, this walking tour weaves together the enthralling tales of the Tredegar Estate with the mystical stories of Wales’ past. 

Stroll through the historic Tredegar mansion, where the whispers of centuries-old legends come alive. Hear about the legendary figures, mythical creatures and heroic deeds that have shaped Welsh culture and history.  

Join us for a unique adventure where history and myth blend seamlessly, leaving you inspired by Welsh legend.

Explore the rich heritage of Wales with our expert historians on a one off 90-minute walking tour through the Tredegar mansion. Discover the enchanting stories that have shaped Welsh culture.

Welsh Myths and Legends Tour

Make your way along the trail and find garden fete activities for the whole family.  
Join in the fun with some traditional games and follow in the footsteps of Percy and Lulu in spring 1929, two of Lord Tredegar's servants . The trail takes place between 7th - 22nd April, from 10:30 to 16:00, with last entry to the house at 15:45, so come along and explore the beautiful gardens of Tredegar House. 
Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet and bunny ears. 
You can then choose from either a chocolate egg* or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg* that is suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
