Visits to East Pool Mine are through guided tours only. To avoid disappointment please book in advance. If you do not book we cannot guarantee admission
Car park
Free parking for East Pool Mine is in Morisson's supermarket car park. Look out for the black National Trust sign at the far end of the carpark

Toilet facilities are available on site
There are loose gravel paths, steep steps and uneven ground. Accessible toilet on site. Accessible parking is available by the visitor reception.

Taylor's Engine House has a steep set of Cornish Engine House steps to the entrance. East Pool Mine is an industrial site, with loose gravel paths, steep steps and uneven ground

Parking for anyone with limited mobility is immediately outside our reception building, and accessed via Trevithick Road

Virtual tours are available to access both Taylor's and Michell's Engine houses'. In an experience controlled by you, please look under the 'Things to see and do' section of this website for the link. Alternatively one of our team will be happy to help you access these when you visit

Leave the A30 at Camborne East or Redruth junctions. Site signposted on A3047, reached through Morrisons' car park.
Parking: Free parking in Morrisons' superstore (far end).

Redruth 2 miles; Camborne 2 miles

There are frequent services from Penzance, St Ives and Truro (passing Camborne and Redruth train station).
