About Heddon Orchard Bothy

Heddon Bothy is a simple, basic four person hideaway located deep in the remote Heddon Valley. You’ll need to bring all of your equipment with you for cooking and ‘indoor camping’, as this wonderfully secluded accommodation is a place for real adventurers.

Step out into the valley and explore miles of excellent hiking trails, including the famous South West Coast Path right on your doorstep. Follow the winding river and you’ll reach Heddon's Mouth pebble beach. The more daring in your group might choose to scale the valley walls in search of panoramic cliff top views.

After a long days exploring, there's a pub just 20 metres downhill from the bothy.

Make the most of your unique location and head inland to explore more of the outstanding Exmoor National Park. With its status as an International Dark Sky Reserve, the moors provide some of the best stargazing in the world, on a clear night you’ll be amazed by what you can see.
