An Eryri (Snowdonia) stay in a 400 year old restored farm building with lots of communal space for group activities.
A Grade II listed, 400 year old 18-sleeper bunkhouse, Hendre Isaf was once a working farm building but now caters for large groups keen to explore Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. With ample facilities and plenty of room for large communal meals, the bunkhouse offers the ideal environment in which to spend quality time with friends and family.
Located in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia), just a 30-minute drive from the start of the Watkin Path at Hafod y Llan, which leads directly to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the tallest mountain in Wales.
Set on the stunning 8,000 hectare Ysbyty Estate, the bunkhouse is just six miles from Betws-y-Coed. This thriving town is surrounded by waterfalls, rivers and wooded valleys and makes for an excellent lunch spot after a morning spent exploring the national park.
A large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with a dining room table/chairs for 18 and cosy seating for twelve. A single bedroom with ensuite-suite shower and toilet. Toilets and shower block are up steps and through the door to the large dormitory. It sleeps 10 in bunk beds separated by privacy partitions. Large drying room complete with storage cupboard and coat hooks - off this room is a separate utility room housing washing machine and dryer.
Internal staircase from ground floor leads to toilet and shower block, up steps to dormitory which sleeps seven in single bunk beds separated by privacy partitions.

Heating: Oil central heating.
Bedding/linen: Mattress protector, one pillow and pillow protector per bed provided.
Parking: Parking for up to 12 cars immediately outside the door of the bunkhouse.
Garden: A large enclosed garden can be found at the rear of the bunkhouse. The garden is in its natural state and is home to picnic benches and a barbecue area.
Hazards: The stairs and lack of facilities make the bunkhouse unsuitable for very small children. Children should be supervised in the garden due to the vicinity of the main road.
