To say a big thank you to our loyal members and to make sure everybody can continue to enjoy the places they love, the National Trust offers a 25 per cent senior concession. We currently give nearly one million senior members the concession off our adult rates.

You're the bedrock of the National Trust – with your support, we can keep looking after nature, beauty and history for ever. The most important thing for us is to make sure you can afford to continue your membership and that is why we’re happy to offer this concession.

Senior membership concession

If you're an existing member aged 60 or over, and you've been a member for at least the last three consecutive years, you can ask for 25 per cent off your subscription. This means that you’ll pay £68.40 for individual senior membership and £113.40 for joint senior membership.

We can’t currently process senior membership applications online or at our places, but we can do so over the phone. To let us know that you’d like the senior membership concession, call 0344 800 1895.

If you pay by Direct Debit, make sure you give us a ring before your next payment date.

Why don't you update the price automatically?

Not every member wishes to be given the concession, so we leave it up to you to decide if you want it or not. If you decide not to take the concession, at least £22 extra per year will go towards protecting more green spaces and looking after our nation's heritage.
