A short coastal walk at Stoke Point
This clifftop walk down to a picturesque viewpoint offers dramatic vistas and a chance to spot rare birds and marine life – especially if you bring your binoculars.

Start point
Stoke National Trust car park, grid ref SX557465
Step 1
Leave the National Trust car park through the wooden gate beside the information board.
Step 2
Follow the path down towards the cliff.

Step 3
Continue through the gate out onto the cliff and walk down to the South West Coast Path, passing an old holed stone gate post on your left.
Step 4
Turn right and walk along the path until you come to a bench on your right.
Step 5
Stop here to enjoy the views and try to pick out marine and bird life with your binoculars. Then re-trace your steps back up to the car park.
