Choirs in the courtyard

Join in with some Christmas carols in the courtyard at the house and you’ll feel jolly in no time. It’s the most wonderful time of the year to get together with your friends and family and sing to your heart’s content.

See community choirs in the house courtyard Saturdays and Sundays from 30 November in the run up to Christmas, and everyday between 16 - 24 December at 12 midday and 1.30pm. Why not pick up a hot chocolate from the café while you’re there?

What to bring and wear

Dress for the weather, warm coats, hats and gloves are a must.

Accessibility

The courtyard is flat with a small number of cobblestones to access this space. Please ask at admissions when entering Lyme as in inclement weather choirs may be relocated to the house. Access to the house from the courtyard is up approximately 10 stone stairs or step free access is available via the Orangery accessible car park.
