The Mill Meadow will be bursting with fun free activities and journey into the Mill to get creative with crafts and dressing up.
Every two weeks the theme of play will change, and so too will the free craft activity hosted in the Learning Space.
Motor Journeys is the theme from Saturday 20 July to Friday 2 August.
Nautical Journeys is the theme from Saturday 3 August to Friday 16 August.
The final theme is Nature's Journey's from Saturday 17 August to Monday 2 September.
Learning Space Discovery Zone This is an ideal opportunity to escape from the sun or rain and let little ones get creative. As well as a craft area, children can enjoy dressing up, playing with historic toys and imaginative play in the cottage.
Special dates for your diary. Please joins us to celebrate these national days in style with fancy dress!
Ranger Day - Wednesday 31 July. From 1pm to 3pm meet Ranger volunteer Mia and explore some of the vehicles used by the Ranger and Garden teams.
Sports day - Tuesday 6 August and Tuesday 20 August. Details about start times available from Visitor Reception on the day.
Pirate Day - Friday 16 August. Dress as a pirate and sing sea shanties and walk the plank!
Bat Day - Tuesday 27 August. Come dressed as a bat or your favourite flying animal and play hook a bat on the Mill Meadow.
