This summer, an installation by Cornwall based artists Rachel Coward and Lily Thomson, will be displayed in Michell's Engine House. Michell's, part of East Pool Mine, is home to the last whim engine built in Cornwall and an iconic structure in the heart of the Mining World Heritage Site.
These artists have created work influenced by the specific environment but also explore interventions that extend and alter a space’s intended use.
