'Fruit and Nut' Walk

Join us for a family friendly 'Fruit and Nut' walk at Penrose, guided by our volunteer walk leaders. Children of all ages welcome.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a gentle walk from Penrose Hill car park taking in the parkland and woodland at Penrose.

Led by volunteer walk leaders, we will be searching for and tyring to identify the different fruits and nuts of our woodland trees. This is the perfect opportunity for anybody to spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome, of all abilities and experience, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

Children welcome, adult supervision required at all times.

Meeting point

This walk will start Penrose Hill car park information board (TR13 0RB or what3words:///elbowing.prime.tinted)

What to bring and wear

Wear clothing suitable for all weather, ideally layers with waterproofs and comfortable, sturdy footwear.

Accessibility

This route is not fully accessible and includes uneven ground, possibly steps and stiles. There are toilets available on this route.
