After a successful event in 2023, Blackbeam Cinematic are returning to Baggy Point with 2 dates of premium outdoor cinema on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st September 2024. Working in partnership with North Devon National Trust, delivering another spectacular event, screening Jaws and E.T against the stunning back drop of Croyde Bay.
Our National Trust café, Sandleigh, will be open selling local ales, wine and cider (to be consumed on the cafe premises).
About the film: It's a hot summer on Amity Island. When a killer shark unleashes chaos on a beach community off Cape Cod, It's up to a local sheriff, a marine biologist and an old seafarer to hunt the beast down. The journey unfolds into an epic battle of Man vs nature.
Directed by Steven Spielberg. This film is Cert 12A, children must be 12 years+.
Gate open 6:30pm and film starts at 7:30pm, film runs for 2h 4m.

- What to bring and wear
Be prepared for all weather! please bring umbrella, waterproofs, a torch, layers of warm clothing and blankets to keep you cosy. You may also wish to bring a camping chair and a picnic.

This event is taking place on a sloped field. The ground may be wet and slippery. Accessible parking, toilets and and accessible W.C are available. Please speak to our car parking team if you need any additional help getting to your seats.

FAQs: Can we bring our own food and drink? Yes, you are welcome to bring a picnic and what is reasonable for 1 person to drink. All we ask is you take any rubbish home. Can I bring a chair? Yes, please bring your own camping chair and/ or blanket, no seats are provided. An area at the front will be reserved for people on blankets Screening starts at the listed times, so please arrive in good time to get yourself seated comfortably and grab some refreshments. Will the event go ahead in bad weather? Yes, the screening will continue regardless of bad weather, please be prepared! If bad weather deems the event unsafe, the event will be rescheduled. Ticket holders would be contacted directly if the event needed to be postponed or cancelled. Can I bring my dog? Yes well behaved dogs are welcome on leads
