Join Nathan from the National Trust Dogs on Dartmoor project and Teign Valley Ranger, Lucy, for a sociable summer dog walk starting from Castle Drogo. Find out about our work and meet new people while your dog enjoys the sights and sniffs. This is a FREE event but please book by calling 07977701075 or emailing parkeevents@nationaltrust.org.uk There will be plenty of time for off lead play, but there will be times that a lead is required so please bring one along with you. These walks are not for the feint hearted and terrain can be challenging. You can expect rocky, uneven footpaths and steep inclines.

- What to bring and wear
Come prepared for variable weather! Wear plenty of layers, waterproofs, and good sturdy boots. Paths are slippery, steep or muddy in places. You may like to bring water or a snack.
- Accessibility
The walk is in rugged woodland. The terrain can be challenging in places with steep inclines and loose stone paths which can be close to the river.
