Lorna Doone Valley - Walking Weekend - Old Burrow Hill and Sugarloaf Hill Walk

A nine mile figure of eight loop taking in the elements of the South West Coastal Path. As well as Old Burrow Hill and Sugarloaf Hill with great views of the Exmoor and the sea.

As part of the Lorna Doone Valley Walking Weekend join the North Devon Ramblers on a nine mile figure of eight walk.

The first 5 mile loop takes you up to Black Gate and over to Old Burrow Hill along the South West Costal Path. Returning to Malmsmead by County Gate. For the second, optional loop of around 4 miles, the walk climbs up again up to Sugarloaf Hill before returning to Malmsmead.

This is an adventurous and challenging walk over 9 miles. Please make sure to wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather. Waterproof clothing is advised as the weather is very changeable. If you are planning on taking part insure that you have brought your own food and drinks.

The walk leaves the Lorna Doone Valley car park at 10:30am. Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes before as the walk will leave promptly at 10:30.

Please make sure to wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather. Waterproof clothing is advised as some elements of the walk are exposed. You will need to bring your own food and drinks.
