Heritage Open Days are coming to Saltram

This September, join us at Saltram for Heritage Open Days. For a whole week, entry is completely free for the house and garden and we will be hosting a series of special tours and talks that celebrate art, history, nature and and conservation. Garden tours: Dates: Wednesday, 11th September and Friday, 13th September Time: 11am Discover the beauty of Saltram's gardens with guided tours led by our passionate garden team. Learn about the history, design, and unique plant collections that make our gardens a delight as we transition into autumn.

Mini 'art bite' talks with Our Property Curator: Dates: Monday, 9th September and Tuesday, 10th September Time: 2pm Location: Staircase Hall Join our Property Curator for focused 20-minute talks on the renowned artist Angelica Kauffman. These 'art bite' sessions offer an in-depth look at her contributions to the artistic heritage of Saltram.

Conservation in Action:

Witness our dedicated conservation team in action as they undertake important preservation work each morning throughout the week. Highlights include the meticulous cleaning of the mirrors in the Saloon.

Conservation Tours: Every Saturday or Sunday, depending on staffing, from 11.30am to 12pm. During these tours, you'll have the chance to learn more about the intricate conservation processes that keep Saltram's treasures safe for future generations.
