Join our friendly guide on a guided walk exploring Middlebere Heath, Hartland Moor and Slepe Heath. Explore the landscape that has shaped the history and cultural heritage of the Isle of Purbeck.

See the heather in full bloom on this walk through the heart of the Purbeck Heaths National Nature Reserve. The route crosses Middlebere Heath, Hartland Moor and Slepe Heath, and part of it follows the course of the Middlebere Plateway, the earliest railway in Dorset.

4.5 miles, 2.5 hours Some gentle slopes Muddy in places.
