Early morning Snowdrop walks take place on selected weekdays in February. Due to their fleeting beauty we will share these dates mid-January to make sure they are looking their best. They will start at Visitor Reception in the Tipi at 8.45am and last for approximately 1 hour.
Snowdrops are often seen as the first sign of spring. However, these delicate flowers are being impacted by climate change. Research carried out at Kew Gardens has shown that the flowering season has moved from around the end of February in the 1950s to early January in the 1990s. Today some snowdrops are spotted in early December.
Each walk lasts for 45 minutes and is £10 per person. Please note, that entry to Kingston Lacy after the event is not included and normal admissions apply. Please meet our garden guide volunteer at the Visitor Reception.
