Bodyscape Dance Residency Performance

Join us for an evening of live dance performances at Tinkley Gate.

As part of the Bodyscape dance residency we are hosting three outdoor dance performances on Sunday evening.

Bodyscape will perform a piece on the theme of diversity (bio diversity and diversity of bodies) developed over a 5 month residency spent at Tinkley Gate.

Marie Louise Flexen will be performing a dance piece responding to the UK red list of endangered birds - "Bird Nerd and The Red List.

YAMA will also perform a piece called "Beneath our Feet", exploring the vast mycelium networks that lie hidden beneath the ground. YAMA have worked with choreographer Emily Brown on a performance that celebrates community, nature, resilience and connection through dance.

Our cafe will be opening late for attendees of the dance event.

What to bring and wear

Dress for an outdoor performance in all weathers. The performance will be mobile but please bring a camping chair if you would like to stop and rest on your journey.

Accessibility

The performance takes place outside on grass. Part of the performance will take place on a steep slope. Accessible parking is available at the front of the cafe. There is an accessible toilet inside the cafe. An outdoor mobility scooter (tramper) is available to hire - please email woodchesterparktramper@nationaltrust.co.uk to reserve.
