Hinton's Tree Tours with the Head Gardener
To celebrate National Tree Week join our Head Gardener, Chris Skinner, on this unique and exclusive tour.
- Booking essential
- Free event (admission applies)
Tree’s have long been an important part of the estate at Hinton Ampner. They were much loved by the last estate owner, Ralph Dutton, and are an integral part of our garden and parkland, with some veteran trees dating back to Tudor times.
Our Head Gardener will lead you on a tour of the garden and parkland, exploring some of our finest specimens and sharing his knowledge and experience of trees, from selection to planting and pruning.
This tour will last around 90 minutes and will take place around the gardens and wider estate. There are areas of rough terrain so we ask you to please dress in appropriate clothing and footwear.
PLEASE NOTE: Booking is essential to visit Hinton Ampner at this time of year. Please visit our Christmas page to book your tickets. This applies to both members and non-member who want to visit both the house and the garden, and the garden only.
