Summer of Play at South Foreland Lighthouse

Let's go back in time and let our children and grandchildren enjoy the games of yesteryear—those we used to play at school, in the park or at home.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Our Summer of Play has something fun for everyone. Whether you like hula hoops, skittles, hobby horses, skipping, bean bags, egg and spoon races, flying kites and more; weather permitting, the games will be out every day. Games are free of charge for all, subject to availability and some may require adult help. While the children are having fun, why not relax with a nice cuppa and one of our delicious cakes from Mrs Knott's tea room? Admission to the Lighthouse grounds is free, normal parking charges apply. Summer of Play is sponsored by Starling Bank.
