Twinkling lights and illuminated trees add sparkle to the woodland glade at Aira Force where decorations made by local school children adorn selected trees. Small but beautifully formed this free festive event is a celebration of local community, nature and the great outdoors.
It is a short stroll through the woods, with hot drinks available at the welcome hut. Wrap up warm, bring a headtorch and make sure you’re wearing sensible footwear. Free. Car park charges apply for non-members.

Please bring a headtorch. Suitable outdoor shoes and warm waterproof clothing suitable for all weather.
- Accessibility
The event happens along the main path and around the gladed area. The event by its nature is under the cover of darkness and the path will have some sections of loose uneven terrain. We welcome buggies and wheelchairs to enjoy the illuminations, but please be aware not all of illuminated area will be fully accessible.

This is a small in scale, local community-focussed event. The illuminations are put out by our local site team to add a little winter sparkle to Aira Force. Please bring suitable clothing, footwear and a headtorch.
