Summer of Play Free family nature and creativity trail

Bring the whole family for free drop in activities as part of our Summer of Play programme. Get crafty with artists from the KIND Collective while spending time along the wildflower meadows.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Join Sarah Lenehan and Nanette Madan-Marshall from Rosehill Theater to make your own flapping paper butterflies painted with natural paints made from rocks and berries, before taking your butterfly on a wildflower ramble around the beautiful meadows of the Whitehaven coast. You'll also have a chance to add your own fingerprint flowers to a large collaborative picture of the meadow, painted with the fingerprints of the people who are a vital part of this landscape. This activity is for all ages and abilities to get crafty, explore the meadows and create something beautiful together.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
