Free Bulb Planting Event
Get ready for a blooming good time at Wray this autumn! Join us for a free bulb planting event that promises to fill the grounds with a stunning array of flowers come spring.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Help us to transform the castle gardens into a vibrant display of beauty and interest that will delight visitors for years to come. We’ll be planting Snowdrops, Daffodils, and Camassias, ensuring a spectacular display from February through to June.
No need to book—just show up in clothes you don’t mind getting a bit muddy. We’ll provide all the necessary equipment!
This event is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the grounds for both visitors and wildlife. Earlier this year, we planted 4,000 regional wildflower plug plants, providing essential food for pollinators and birds.
This bulb planting event is made possible thanks to generous donations to the National Trust Garden Fund.
