Times
The basics
- Suitability
This event is aimed at families
- Meeting point
Start your Easter day out at Visitor Reception in the car park. They will be able to direct you.
- What to bring and wear
Dress for the weather and for countryside ground surfaces as this takes place outdoors.
- Accessibility
This event is outdoors in our gardens and grounds. There are uneven ground surfaces and steps. If you have concerns about your access requirements please send us an email on canonsashby@nationaltrust.org.uk and we will be happy to discuss things further.
- Other
There is no extra charge for parking for our visitors. We have limited Easter Eggs for the whole Easter period, and cannot predict how busy we will be. Our car park is small, and whilst we will try hard to fit everyone in, we cannot guarantee that there will be space. We suggest visiting first thing, or after 2.30pm, to avoid the busiest period. Canons Ashby will close at 5pm. If you are not coming for the Easter Egg Trail, and you would prefer a quieter time, we recommend visiting on a different day. For visitors with allergies or dietary requirements there are limited free-from chocolate prizes, with ingredients lists available to read and check.
