The Hall is open for free to all visitors on Saturday 5 October for a Fun Palace weekend. You can explore the historic rooms of the Hall and find out more about the Shuttleworth family who originally lived in here. You can have a go at some Creative Crafts with Lancashire Adult Learning and find out about the courses they offer throughout the year. Plus, the Victorian kitchen in the basement is also open. Here you can write with a real ink pen, make your own menu or a list just like in the Shuttleworth Accounts books. Outside you can visit the walled garden with the National Trust Rangers and the vintage bus will be running from Padiham to Gawthorpe Hall. Come and explore this fantastic house and garden, all the activities are on from 12pm to 4pm.
