Father Christmas is dropping down our Tudor chimney this winter! Come and pay him a visit, and share the festive season with us at Sutton House.

Father Christmas is kindly taking 3 Sundays out of his busiest season to visit the children of Hackney this December. He will be with us from 12-4pm each Sunday, and you will need a slot to see him, as he is very popular! Each child will get to meet Father Christmas and have their photograph taken. They can then spend the rest of their visit exploring the property and discovering the different toys children have played with through the 500 years of Sutton House's history.
One £9 ticket covers one child (both naughty and nice) and up to two accompanying adults.

Entrance via the rusted Breaker's Yard gate and make your way through the garden and past the double decker caravan to Visitor Reception.

During renovations of Sutton House in the 1980s, hundreds of items were discovered beneath the floorboards. Dating from the Tudor period until the 1980s, these items went untouched until last year when the rare paper cuttings were identified.
