Heritage Open Days at Oxburgh Estate
This year Oxburgh is pleased to be taking part in Heritage Open Days on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September. This means free entry to Oxburgh Estate for everyone.

Home to the Bedingfeld family for over 500 years, Oxburgh reveals one family's unshakable Catholic faith and story of endurance. Explore Victorian Gothic interiors, fascinating collections, peaceful woodland walks and colourful gardens. Inside, peel back the layers of history as you wander through a house filled with portraits and treasured objects.

A view from the roof:
We’re opening up the roof of the gatehouse for visitors to enjoy the view. Access will be via timed ticket only, available to book on arrival at visitor welcome.

The basics
- Accessibility
Cabinets & Curiosities will take place on the ground floor of the hall. This is fully wheelchair and buggy accessible. A view from the Roof will take place at the top of the gatehouse which is accessed via a stone spiral staircase. Please visit the Oxburgh website for our full access guide.

Guided access to the gatehouse roof is bookable on the day with the Welcome Team, on a first come, first serve basis. Limited spaces available.
