Ranger walk

A walk to explore Durham's green space around Crook Hall Gardens.

Venture into nature with our ranger Jason to learn about local nature, look out for birds and find interesting insects.

This event is free. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for Crook Hall Gardens and its wildlife.

The basics

Suitability

Children welcome, must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting point

Meet in the car park near the Garden Gate Café. Toilets are available in the café before and after the walk.

What to bring and wear

There are no amenities along the route so please bring a drink, insect repellent, sun cream and weather appropriate clothing.

Accessibility

Some uneven surfaces and slopes.
