Join Friends of Red Kites at Gibside Stables for a fascinating talk chronicling the story of the re-introduction of the red kite in the North East. Learn about the history of these magnificent birds and the work done by the Friends of Red Kites to conserve them.
This talk will be seated and will last for approximately 40 minutes. Free, normal admission applies. Booking advised as there is limited capacity.

- Meeting point
The talk will take place in the Cinema Room at Gibside Stables. Please be aware that the Stables are a 30 minute walk from Visitor Reception.
- What to bring and wear
The Stables are old buildings and can be cold, even in mild weather. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather conditions.
- Accessibility
The Cinema Room is wheelchair accessible. The talk will be seated. Please be aware that the path up to the Stables includes a steep ascent and uneven ground. The Gibside shuttle bus may be available on the day, please ask at Visitor Reception.
