Land Lines: Border Readers at Wallington

Live readings of five short stories with rural settings written by contemporary writers and read by professional actors in the grand surroundings of the Central Hall at Wallington.

  • Booking essential

Established literary names Deborah Moggach, Tim Pears, Helen Dunmore and Adam Thorpe are joined by Northumberland based writer Jo Scott. It’s a fabulous line up of brilliant authors and each of these powerful narratives have lots to say in entertaining and relevant ways about life in the modern countryside. Apart from being the Border Readers most extensive tour to date we are also pleased to add a further dimension by blending quality visual art into the magic mix of great short story writing and interpretive reading skills.
