Join Programming and Partnerships Officer, Keith on our Legends of the Stormy Seas Guided Tours to hear tales of wrecks, monsters, storms and much more that's associated with this part of the coast.
Over the years, Carrick-a-Rede hasn't been the safest place to be...
The McDonald clan were massacred by Sir Francis Drake on Rathlin Island, and to add to it, if you ventured into the water, you risked being eaten by the Sea Monster of Portballintrae, or hit on the head by a target being launched by catapult from Benbane Head!
Come along for an insightful chat, covering everything from ghost ships to Vikings, hot air balloons to submarines, and tight-rope walkers to whirlpools.
Tours will be running at 11:00am and 2:00pm from the white stones area, located beside the Ticket Hut.
National Trust Members and Local Pass Holders gain free access. For the best rates, pre-book your Visitor Experience tickets in advance. This is a free event; normal admission charges apply.
